My church acquired another campus, a beautiful 100 year old chapel in north Tacoma. Operating media there is simple, but the desk had to go, it was bare MDF supported by 2x4s. So I upgraded it.

I took some leftover 2x4s planed them, chopped em in a variety of lengths and glued them together to get a butcher block look. Then I stained them to match the hardwood floors and gave it a nice shiny polyurethane finish.

Oh, yeah, I also made a coat rack to match.
