This project is still a work in progress. I started it years ago, but it is so far down my list, I keep forgetting about it.
I wanted to make a large countdown clock for up-coming events, but all the 7 segment displays I found were either very expensive or tiny. So I bought a few hundred red LEDs and designed my own. My buddy Josh printed out my segment design on his 3D printer and I got to work gluing the LEDs in. Then I wired up the circuits and started programming the Arduino to run it all.
There is still some figuring out to do with the circuit. Then there is a ton of code to figure out. And finally I will need to make the enclosure for it. Hopefully one day I will get around to finishing it.
